The home  insurance policy is separated into several sections. Every  section has features and benefits . The policy is categorized  into two main parts. home-insurance-5While  you look at  the declarations page of  a home policy then surly you should  see its structure quite clearly.

Section I will provide  property coverage for  the personal property, dwelling, other structures  and additional living expense.

Part A. The Dwelling part provides coverage for  the dwelling and  structures attached to the dwelling.

Part B. Other Structures part provides coverage to other structures besides  the dwelling part  A which  set a part for  the dwelling.

Part C. Personal Property  part provides personal property coverage to  the insured any place in the world.

Part D. Additional Living Expense part provides additional living expenses for  the insured as  their dwelling turns to uninhabitable.

Section II will provides liability insurance or  medical payments to the  third parties.

Part A. Personal Liability part  provides coverage in the situation when  a claim  is produced against the insured for the damage due to  property damage or bodily injury.

Part B. Medical Payments  part provides medical payments for  others  situations where the person is injured and need medical treatment.

There are a lot of  more additional endorsements and benefits for these two sections. Also, the home policy would  list the perils which  will be covered under the policy. The home insurance policy has a broad range of protections. Homeowner insurance policy is sold on  a replacement cost or a actual cash value basis. Generally, the  replacement cost home policy is more proper for newer homes that is  built within  last 40 years. The actual cash value policy is fitful for older homes which are depreciated in market value.

Some discounts are available for things such as dead bolt locks, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers. Fire alarms and Burglar alarms that connected  to fire departments and the police station  should be qualified for even larger discounts. Some retirement discounts  are  for the senior citizen, and there are  multi-policy discounts while you purchase home and auto insurance from a same company.
